Chima Padua | Brunch at Cartier (2022)

£2,900.00
Sold Out

THIS WORK IS NOW SOLD, PRICES NOW ON APPLICATION, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH OUR TEAM.

Brunch at Cartier (2022)
Acrylic and marker on canvas
61 × 61 cm (24 × 24 in)
*1 of 1 original. Certificate of Authenticity included.

A playful yet pointed exploration of status, identity, and modern myth-making, Brunch at Cartier captures Chima Padua’s signature fusion of street energy and cultural critique. Painted in 2022, the work radiates bold colour and layered symbolism, nodding to fashion, luxury, and the coded rituals of belonging.

The title itself teases the viewer — pairing the opulence of Cartier with the casualness of brunch, collapsing two worlds into one. Padua’s technique, a mix of acrylic and marker, crackles with spontaneity: graphic lines interrupt painterly textures, and visual motifs echo hip-hop, luxury branding, and post-pop surrealism.

This is a unique, hand-painted work — no editions or prints exist. Signed by the artist and in excellent condition, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity issued by the gallery. Unframed, ready to be hung or customised to your taste.
